Pamukkale a tourist attraction in Turkey
Pamukkale it’s a tourist attraction in Turkey. The name means “cotton castle” in Turkish. The tectonic movements that took place in the fault depression of the Menderes river basin triggered frequent earthquakes, and gave rise to a number of hot springs. The water from these springs has a large chalk content and it created Pamukkale.
